Fitness Tips of Bipasha Basu to Lose Weight
Bipasha Basu is 5 feet 8.5 inches tall, weighs about 63 Kgs, and has the vital stats that are almost every girl’s dream, that is 36-28-36. Apart from giving some amazing hits, Bipasha is also acknowledged for being fit even more than a 25-year-old girl. She has one of the most desirable body shapes in the country.
But for such a fab body, she follows a disciplined lifestyle and a workout plan. So, let us have a look at the secret tips to her fit and toned body.
Bipasha Basu follows a strict workout plan and does not miss it even a single day, except of course, if she is unwell. Her cardio includes:
- Treadmill- 20 mins.
- Cycling- 20 mins.
- Cross trainer-10 mins.
She exercises 6 days in a week, and has a daily schedule for each workout.
- Day 1: She follows a complete upper body regime.
- Day 2: It comprises of an abs workout.
- Day 3: She follows a lower body and legs workout.
- Day 4: It is fixed for a gluteus regime.
- Day 5: She repeats her upper body workout.
- Day 6: It is a combination of abs and gluts workouts.
After following this routine for a few weeks, she alternates her workout regime. According to her, the routine can create monotony, which leads to disinterest. Bipasha includes kickboxing, a brisk walk etc., to keep her workouts fresh and enjoyable.
The diet plan
Bipasha has not always been a conscious eater. For a ‘to-die-for’ body, she gave up her junk food fetish and ever since became a healthy eater. She enjoys eating simple home cooked Bengali food. Her diet includes egg whites in whichever form possible, steamed fish, nuts, green tea, vegetables like broccoli and mushrooms, etc.
It took all this determination and hard work for her to wear a bikini in her films. Hats off! Apart from this, she consumes a lot of water throughout the day. Fresh fruit juices and coconut water are the reason behind her glowing and radiant skin.
Bipasha maintains that you need to love yourself to care enough for your body. ‘Enjoy being who you are’ is her mantra to a happy life. She firmly believes that you need strong determination and discipline to live a fit and healthy lifestyle.

She says that to get the perfect bikini body, she went on a high protein diet with enormous hours in the gym, and avoided her favourite sweets and fast foods.
